At Kahurangi School, our strategic plan sets out what matters most for our school and where we are heading over the next few years. It helps guide our decisions, our priorities, and how we focus our time and resources to best support our tamariki.

Our strategic plan is developed in consultation with our school community and reflects our shared values, goals, and aspirations. It sets the longer-term direction for the school, while our Annual Plan shows what we are focusing on each year and how we are putting the strategy into action.

Together, these plans:

• Set clear priorities for teaching and learning
• Reflect national education priorities and our local context
• Show our commitment to equity, wellbeing, and success for all learners
• Reflect our commitment to cultural responsiveness and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Guide how we use our resources and funding
• Help us track progress and keep improving

The Kahurangi School Board reviews our progress regularly and updates these plans as needed to make sure they continue to meet the needs of our students and community.
